I am a native Cincinnatian, a graduate of St Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati College of Business with a degree in Industrial Management.  I have had a successful and "hands - on" background in business ownership that gives me great insight into the ups and downs of business ownership.  My ability to relate to business owners is a great asset that I possess.  I owned and operated 3 Aamco Transmission Centers from 1977 - 1987 and successfully sold them.  After a 1 - year business search working with business brokers and business owners, I purchased a printing company called The Copy Place which quickly became Accuprint & Laminating of Cincinnati.  I grew the business 5 - fold over 17 years and sold it to a competitor in 2005.  Shortly thereafter, I began my career as a business broker and owner of Cincinnati Business Brokers. I take great pride in representing business owners in their quest to sell their business in a confidential fashion.  I have personally sold over 110 businesses in varying sizes from $500,000 - $10,000,000 in sales.  My database of over 7,000 SW Ohio and Kentucky buyers is unmatched.  I pride myself in giving 100% effort and great service to not only the seller, but the buyer as well.  Selling a business is for many owners a once in a lifetime experience, and I am very well versed in making that happen successfully since becoming a business broker in 2005.

I am one of a few Certified Business Intermediaries in Northern Kentucky / Southwestern Ohio.  A CBI is an experienced business broker who is committed to the highest level of professional development the industry has to offer and has ethical values aligned with the International Business Brokers Association standards of professionalism.  A CBI has the ability to objectively guide clients through the intricacies of the entire marketing and negotiation process of a business sale, resulting in successful transactions and satisfied clients.  Along with having undergone a specialized initial program of detailed training, a CBI is required to earn continuing education credits to maintain the credential.

I received the International Business Brokers Association Chairman's Circle Award for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.  These awards recognize sales excellence and commitment in the business brokerage community.

I am very active in the community as a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society Advisory Board, a Vincentian at Christ the King Parish in Mt Lookout, a Christ Hospital communion distributor, a downtown Cincinnati Rotary member and Chair of the Membership Retention Committee,  and as a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

I live in Mt Lookout and have been married to my wife Lisa since 1979 and have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.

I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and began my career in 1975 in Cincinnati as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and company. I purchased my first Company in 1981, a multi unit nightclub company, with $8 million in sales. Since that time I have owned, operated, managed, bought and sold many different companies in many different industries. I sold my last company, a start up vending company, in 2005 after building sales to $2 million per year.

Over the years I have bought and sold and brokered many companies for myself and others. I have a personal and first hand understanding of business owners, owning a business, and the mental process sellers go through before selling. I also understand buyers and what they are looking for in businesses to buy and their decision making process. I can put this first hand knowledge to good use in bringing buyers and sellers together and being very successful in getting businesses sold.

I have been married to my wife, Mary Helen, for 35 years and we have 5 children.
